Our Little Fish

We can't wait to get her in the lake this summer! She loves "swimming" in the big bathtub. I used to rest her on my legs while I washed her. From day one, she's been attempting racing starts off my tummy. When I finally concede and support her head while she pushes off, she smiles jubilantly. She also tends to turn her head from side to side while she glides until her whole face is wet. You'd think water in her eyes would be off-putting but she's pretty unfazed.

She's getting so squirmy that we've started using the actual baby tub to wash her. You can tell she feels robbed at bath time these days. We're looking into swimming lessons for this spring.
