| Our first sign was on the door leading to the bathroom so he'd see it first thing in the morning when he went to take a shower.... |

| It didn't photo as well as I'd like, but Lila gave it some flair with her handprints:) I kept both signs so that we could add a new sign each year and watch them evolve as she grows. |

| Then we made Daddy breakfast... (Despite how he photos in the morning, he assures me it was delicious;) |

| and spent some time just staring at him adoringly It's a big week for us because Gram's birthday is the 17th, Daddy's is the 18th and David's is the 19th. That's a lot of our favorite people to cram into one week:) So we usually get together for a celebratory family dinner at some point during the week. |

| After work, Gram and Pop came over so we could give him his presents. |

| We got him a broomball set for up at the cabin. (It should be noted several of his buddies thanked me for his birthday present, too) |

A couple of things...
ReplyDelete1. Your house photographs really well! I see no mess, and I'm very jealous of the white trim. (Was it always white, or did you paint?)
2. Maybe it's the shirt(?), but Sean looks like a high school kid in the birthday photos.

1) Thanks! If only we could live in it through photos. It is, in fact, a bit of a mess. Oh and the trim was white everywhere but the living room where it was... beige. Weird. We painted that.
ReplyDelete2) This is my favorite comment of all time. I'm pretty sure that shirt IS from high school. Sean prides himself on his ability to wear clothes into the ground. He actually ironed a patch on the knees of two pairs of jeans this past week. He looks a little like Raggedy Andy. Thank God he grew a foot in high school or I'm pretty sure he'd still be wearing his uniform from grade school;)
Sean would like to add he got that shirt when he was 15. It's "The Big Shirt" from Abercrombie, circa 1997.
