Sean's two least favorite conversations over the last ten months have been baby names and nursery decor, primarily because I started the debate on both topics about fifteen minutes after we found out we were expecting. The good news is both issues are about 90% resolved. Since we're not sharing our final decision on names yet, here's a sneak preview of the nursery.

| My parents took us shopping for the nursery furniture. We think it's beautiful- thanks Mom and Dad! |
 |
| The theme, if there was one, (which there isn't because one of us thinks themes are hokey and unnecessary) is "Reading is Fun!" So we took a few of our favorite, classic kids books and had the best pages framed. These two feature the last scene from Corduroy when he finally goes home with Lisa and the reunion scene from Sylvester and the Magic Pebble. |

Can you name these classics? "To the tiger in the zoo, Madeline just says 'poo-poo'" and
"Then he lay down close by and whispered with a smile, 'I love you right up to the moon-- and back!'" |
 |
| Sean and my dad applied the alphabet decal. It was a tricky little project, made no easier by my mom and I musing, "Should the 'J' be lower? Or maybe a little to the left?" We were banished from the nursery while they finished up. I think it looks perfect. |

I found some great cuddly characters from some of my favorite books to keep watch over the books.
We have Peter Rabbit, a Wild Thing, Curious George, The Cat in the Hat and, my sentimental favorite, Corduroy. |
Cuuuute!! I love the room! And the Ugly Doll. (We have a Big Toe and a little Babo.)
