lorelei's favorite song

When Lorelei first came home, she fooled us. She made us believe this baby stuff was easy. She lulled us into a false sense of security, waiting until we were feeling comfortable, confident and maybe even a little bit smug. Then she flipped the switch. Suddenly, she cried for no reason at all. She was clean, dry and fed. We were mystified. 

Until we found her favorite song. 

I can't really remember how we stumbled upon it. It might have been in one of the sixty five trillion baby books we read or perhaps we were just beside ourselves with the racket in the car and looking to drown it out, but we found it. The silver bullet...

STATIC! She loves it! 

We're not sure if this is akin to superman's cryptonite or if this is some perverse scavenger hunt she developed to test us but either way, we'll take it.
